Mad Ave Blues - too funny

Okay, it's too long, but boy did this video make me laugh this morning. No idea who creator LMcDuff is (says the pen name is after a yellow labrador named Lady McDuff), but this person nails what's happening in the ad world these days.

Set Your Google Ad Preferences Did you know that you can go to google.com/ads/preferences and tell Google what type of ads you would like to see? It will show you your cookie information and what it's already figured out about you (mine was eerily accurate) and then you can add and remove categories or opt out all together.

For a blogger with a day-job, it’s impossible to keep up! At 9 am, I see the Politico piece on how the Washington Post is now selling off-the-record access to “those powerful few” to lobbyists for up to $250K. Those few being Obama administration officials, members of Congress and it’s own journalists! Fantastic, I think, I’ll make this my next blog post! The most expensive dinner party you could ever attend. Would the journalists get a cut or was dinner at Katharine Weymouth's house reward enough? However, soon enough, I see it on many, many other blog sites and referred to in many, many tweets. By mid-day, Jeff Jarvis re-tweets this...
